Papa Bruce's Birthday

Oh course I left my camera at home, but nonetheless we had a blast celebrating Papa's 45th birthday all day long yesterday :)  It started with lunch at Michael's Deli, then haircuts at Carla's and ended with a yummy dinner at the Gold House!!  HB was rained out and was home before lunch and enjoyed it all with us...only downside to the day was Cash's stomach virus was lingering and he vomited all over the place in his carseat and then again in Michael's.  It was awlful...but we made it through and he's eating like a champ today...his eyes are still red and he's still wanting the be attached at the hip, but it's nice sometimes to have a little more snuggle time :)  Finished up shopping for Hayes' big day tomorrow.  Only got 1 RSVP..sure hope more kids show up than that....he's excited as am I :)  Now off to pick him up from Nanny and Papa's.  I ready to get me some sugar!!!

Wordless Wednesday~Thanks to Heather Parker & Monica for the idea :)

Whirlwind

A description of my life the past few weeks......Whirlwind!! Work, church, family, graduations, planning birthday parties, weddings, some sleep in between (key word there "some") My sister graduated from GA Southern the 9 th of May, rushed home for Mother's Day the 10 th , worked that week, ate steaks with the family at Mama and Daddy's the 15 th , our first Saturday together the 16 th with a date night that evening (mama kept the boys and we saw ghost of girlfriend's past), church sunday (our phones and $ stolen out of our unlocked car during church..police report after church and ate lunch with mama and granny mary ann at zaxby's ), and now at work for the 2 nd night this week in the nursery at SRMC .....fun times. Then on top of all this my little Cash is cruising around everywhere and stood unassisted with a toy in his hand for like 3 seconds last week. I was SO proud!! Hayes' been in hog heaven with all this rain. He's all boy! When ...

Quick Update - Broken Collarbone

Image
March 22nd-I had a nursery meeting after church and the kids were playing like kids do. Hayes & his little friend Emily where holding hands swinging each other in circles. Well when they let go Hayes awkwardly fell on his shoulder and began to whine. I let him cry a few minutes and then started telling him to dry it up that it was enough and he was alright. After 10-15 minutes of STILL whining I decided I needed to further assess the situation...went out in the hall & upon realizing there was a "bump" on his clavicle and he could not lift him arm to remove his shirt I decided we were on our way to the ER for an x-ray. To make a long story short the ER didn't see anything, just called it a contusion/pulled ligaments and sent us home in a sling with pain meds...the next morning we were in the same boat..not moving the arm/shoulder and refusing to lift the arm to change clothes. We saw Dr. Dunn in Brunswick and had MORE x-rays and.....his clavicle was fractured. So h...

Proud Mommy

So my little angel is a genius...of course every mommy thinks that, but really, mine is!!! (I can brag here because you don't have to read it..you just choose to) This past weekend when I went to go get Cash out of his crib after a nap he was STANDING up holding on to the edge of the crib waiting for me ( he looked like Bambi, but was standing none the less)!!! I was AMAZED and scared to death at the same time seeing as how I did not have the edge of the crib raised...he could have just fallen right over the edge (thank you Jesus for your protection :) Then as if that weren't enough, the next day I walked into the living room to see him not scooting any longer, but up on his hands and knees crawling, crawling i'm telling you like a big boy...such monumental milestones accomplished right there within 24-48 hours of each other...he thinks he's so big & gives me the biggest 2 teeth grin :) Oh and I forgot to mention that the sitting up is better too. He just sits in t...

A "Me" Day

So today was the day. I requested an appt at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL less than 2 weeks ago and was seen there today for this abdominal pain that has plagued me for literally ALL my life. I must say it is an amazing place. I am scheduled for 2 tests next week & excited about finally getting some answers & successful treatment. I did miss my baby boys terribly today!! Thanks to my Daddy, Mama, Sis Beth, Casey, & the Lovett's for your help with them today & to Granny MaryAnn for accompanying & taking care of me...don't know what I'd have done without you all! I also did something today that I haven't done in 11 years~played SOFTBALL!!! It was GREAT!! I didn't realize how much I missed it & CANNOT believe it's been that long. I'm so looking forward to playing this season with my Sisters from Brunel St. Church of God!! Last, but certainly not least on my mind tonight...my dear, dear husband. I miss him SOOO...much. I pray...
