Proud Mommy
So my little angel is a genius...of course every mommy thinks that, but really, mine is!!! (I can brag here because you don't have to read it..you just choose to) This past weekend when I went to go get Cash out of his crib after a nap he was STANDING up holding on to the edge of the crib waiting for me ( he looked like Bambi, but was standing none the less)!!! I was AMAZED and scared to death at the same time seeing as how I did not have the edge of the crib raised...he could have just fallen right over the edge (thank you Jesus for your protection :) Then as if that weren't enough, the next day I walked into the living room to see him not scooting any longer, but up on his hands and knees crawling, crawling i'm telling you like a big boy...such monumental milestones accomplished right there within 24-48 hours of each other...he thinks he's so big & gives me the biggest 2 teeth grin :) Oh and I forgot to mention that the sitting up is better too. He just sits in the living room and watches Hayes. That started last week. He still falls backwards when he gets mad, but for the most part he's got it down. He'll even go from crawling to sitting up all by himself! So all of these milestone reached from 7-7 1/2 months. It has rocked little Hayes' world. He likes the fact that Cash is more interactive, but man it tears him up when his organized miniture city of cars, tractors, and 4-wheelers gets scattered by curious little hands that swipe through like windshield wipers, LOL. He's adapting though. I remind him that he's the big brother and it's his responsibilty to watch out for Cash and keep him safe and that the reason he wants his toys is because he thinks he's cool and wants to be just like him. Most of the time it works and Hayes starts hugging, kissing, and lovin' on Cash. He really is a great big brother. Can you tell I'm a proud Mommy...I hope so because I AM!!!
