March 22nd-I had a nursery meeting after church and the kids were playing like kids do. Hayes & his little friend Emily where holding hands swinging each other in circles. Well when they let go Hayes awkwardly fell on his shoulder and began to whine. I let him cry a few minutes and then started telling him to dry it up that it was enough and he was alright. After 10-15 minutes of STILL whining I decided I needed to further assess the situation...went out in the hall & upon realizing there was a "bump" on his clavicle and he could not lift him arm to remove his shirt I decided we were on our way to the ER for an x-ray. To make a long story short the ER didn't see anything, just called it a contusion/pulled ligaments and sent us home in a sling with pain meds...the next morning we were in the same boat..not moving the arm/shoulder and refusing to lift the arm to change clothes. We saw Dr. Dunn in Brunswick and had MORE x-rays and.....his clavicle was fractured. So h...

While playing duck duck goose in kid's club at church hayes fell and caught one of the metal folding chairs just right. Here's the final product! Much blood, tears, a drive to Jesup ER, a little hair clipped, and one very painful staple later we are home and snuggled in bed. Man it got him good :( I wish I had a before pict
