Pillow Talk

I have found that some of life's deepest, most meaningful discussions happen with our head on our pillows at the Bates home.  I love how the Lord reminds me of His promises and teaches me as I teach them and explain spiritual things to my babies!  You know it's good stuff when the anointing flows through mommy and she's sharing passionatley with her babies ;)  They get SO excited b/c they hear it in my voice and feel the presence of God!!!  Tonight we were reminded that God's Spirit lives IN us...we are God's children...we do NOT have to be afraid of the devil...he tells nothing but lies and TREMBLES just at the NAME of JESUS!  How much more is he afraid of us when we know & recognize that God is IN us...GOD'S POWER lives IN ME!  When I give myself over to Jesus and resist the devil he FLEES or runs away trembling like a little school girl (they really liked that part)...not only that but when we Praise God He inhabits that PRAISE.  If I inhabit something then I am physically present there...so God comes and hangs out in the atmosphere where Praise is occurring!!!  Do you think satan hangs around when my Big Daddy shows up??...No, No, NO!!!!  So you see God sees NO reason for his children to be afraid of satan...he is defeated and is subject to JESUS!!!  Just like Mommy & Daddy would never let anything happen to our babies, God wouldn't either and even more so b/c He's GOD and he's not worried about us b/c He's given us POWER in HIS NAME!!  Oh HALLELUIAH give God some PRAISE!!!  The ultimate reward for being a Mommy is seeing my babies get excited about loving Jesus and realizing who they are in and through HIM!  I am blessed and highly favored by my Big Daddy!!!!!

Mommy what did those words mean???? :)

After we finished saying our prayers tonight I continued praying thinking they were all drifting off to dreamland as the room was quiet. Some of the prayer was in the spirit and as I was praying I heard a little voice ask, mommy what did those words mean??? Oh thank you my Jesus for hungry little minds. I gave what may be an all-time record for the shortest crash course in being saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost and the gift of tongues, praying in tongues, and spiritual warfare as well as our purpose here on Earth...during our lesson hayes said mommy hold on I think I hear Jesus tellin me somethin. I paused a moment and he said I think He said tell Austin about Jesus....oh there's NOTHING in this world that could make this Mommy's heart more happy, proud and at peace!!! even a 6 year old knows that still (but oh so powerful) small voice...thank you Father for speaking to and being with Your people!!!
