Portrait Session Description

So this past evening I decided I'd try and take some pictures of the boys...you know Casher Bug is sitting up now and everything...our make-shift portrait studio consisted of the Radioflyer wagon, the top of a rubbermaid container, and a white linen table cloth. In our less than 5 minute session the rubbermaid container fell twice, the 2nd of which ended the "session". I managed to get a few GREAT picts though...& yes my baby was chewing on a stick (bad mommy). It kept him in place and his mouth "fingerless" long enough to snap a few shots.



This is my attempt to capture the Hayes Bates, which as you can see was very successful! He was in no mood to participate....so....better luck next time. Oh, and I'm learning on the posting pictures in the blog, thus the "Portrait Session Description" posting :)

Mommy what did those words mean???? :)

After we finished saying our prayers tonight I continued praying thinking they were all drifting off to dreamland as the room was quiet. Some of the prayer was in the spirit and as I was praying I heard a little voice ask, mommy what did those words mean??? Oh thank you my Jesus for hungry little minds. I gave what may be an all-time record for the shortest crash course in being saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost and the gift of tongues, praying in tongues, and spiritual warfare as well as our purpose here on Earth...during our lesson hayes said mommy hold on I think I hear Jesus tellin me somethin. I paused a moment and he said I think He said tell Austin about Jesus....oh there's NOTHING in this world that could make this Mommy's heart more happy, proud and at peace!!! even a 6 year old knows that still (but oh so powerful) small voice...thank you Father for speaking to and being with Your people!!! I love you
